Baked Gnocchi Gorgonzola with Spinach

All time comfort food. Not even a bit healthy but more satisfying it can't get! Sometimes we need to nurture our soul with a bit of extra cheeeeese.
Ingredients (Servings: pieces)
Fresh Gnocchi
g
Heavy Cream
g
Gorgonzola Cheese
g
Fresh Spinach
g
Butter
tbsp
Parmesan Cheese
tbsp
Pine Nuts
tbsp
Leaves of Fresh Sage
Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparing In The Kitchen
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC.
  2. Boil the gnocchi as per package instructions and set aside.
  3. In the meantime, melt the butter in ovenproof pan over medium heat. Add sage, thyme and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the cream and gorgonzola. Cook on medium heat until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the spinach and cook for some minutes. Stir in the gnocchi, mix it all well till evenly coated and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  6. Place it in the oven and bake for 5 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Serve with sprinkle pine nuts and extra parmesan.
