Preparing In The Kitchen
    Beef Patty
  1. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together.
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 patties and in each patty in the middle make a small dimple (as meat cooks, the proteins contract so the patty shrinks and puffs up in the middle. Making a kind of dimple in the middle counteracts that effect so you end up with a nice, even patty).
  3. Place the grilling pan on the medium-high heat. Drizzle in olive oil and once oil is warmed up add patties, grill them for 4-5 minutes (depends on thickness and your preferences) and turning them around until coloured on all sides. In the end add a slice of cheese and grill until melted.
  4. Caramelized Onions
  5. Place the pan over medium heat and drizzle in olive oil.
  6. Add sliced onions and cook for few minutes, until soften. Add sugar and let it caramelize (be careful not to burn).
  7. Deglaze with red wine and balsamic vinegar and cook until liquid is reduced.
  8. Sweet Potato Curls
  9. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
  10. Slice the sweet potato with spiralizer, spread it over the baking sheet and drizzle a good amount of olive oil. Season with salt and peer and mix it well (gently) to combine.
  11. Place it in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  12. Once all is ready you are ready to make your burger. Arrange all the toppings and the sauce as per your wish.
