Greek Tahini Lamb Shawarma Bowl

Quick and easy lamb recipe. The perfect fusion of Greek and Levantine cuisine. Grilled lamb served with creamy tahini avocado cream and fresh cucumber.

Lamb Loin

Preparing In The Kitchen
  1. For the skewers rinse the lamb, pat dry and cut into cubes about 2 x 2cm large. In a medium bowl, mix the lamb, lemon juice, olive oil, crushed garlic, paprika, salt and pepper well. Cover the bowl with cling film and place it in the fridge for about an hour.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the tahini avocado cream. Put all ingredients in a stand mixer or shredder. Puree all ingredients into a smooth cream.
  3. Put the lamb on skewers and heat a grill pan over a medium heat.
  4. Grill the skewers until lightly charred and cooked through, turning skewers occasionally throughout cooking, about 8-10 minutes. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the lamb.
  5. While the skewers grill, slice the cucumber and radishes and crumble the feta.
  6. To serve, spread the avocado cream and serve the vegetables and lamb skewers over it. If you wish for some carbs, serve with orzo or pearl couscous.
