Cauliflower Pear Salad

It is simply so yummy and simple to make. It looks good and it goes really with everything. Baharat smoked cauliflower with fresh pears and gorgonzola. Easy to make and absolutely tasty.

Cauliflower
head
Pear
Gorgonzola Cheese
g
Pecan Nuts
g
Mixed Green Salad
Baharat Spice
tsp
Honey
tbsp
Garlic Powder
tsp
Lemon Juice
tbsp
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparing In The Kitchen
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
  2. In a small bowl mix together 1 tablespoon honey, baharat, garlic powder, salt and pepper and drizzle in some olive oil. Mix it together and brush the cauliflower head with the mix.
  3. Place the cauliflower in a Dutch oven and cover with a lid. Place it in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes (time of baking depends on size of the cauliflower).
  4. In the meantime, mix all ingredients for salad dressing. 1 tablespoon honey, olive oil and lemon. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Slice the pear in thin slices and crumble the gorgonzola cheese.
  6. Once cauliflower is done, let it cool down to room temperature. Then cut it on small pieces.
  7. In a big bowl add the mixed green salad and pour in dressing. Mix till evenly coated.
  8. Add pear slices, gorgonzola, pecans and cauliflower.
  9. For extra freshness you can add mint leaves (optional)
