Instructions

Preparing In The Kitchen
  1. Wash cucumber, pat dry and cut into fine strips. Peel the garlic and chop finely. In a medium bowl, knead the cucumber and garlic with salt and let it steep for about 10 minutes. Halve the avocado, remove the core and peel. Cut the flesh of the avocado into even wedges. Wash the salad and spin dry.
  2. In the meantime, prepare the Bifteki. Peel the onion and dice finely. Wash the herbs, shake dry and chop finely. Mix the beef evenly in a bowl with the onion, egg, cumin, nutmeg and herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Flatten in your hand, press feta in the middle and wrap it with minced meat. Form the meat around the cheese and seal, making sure to enclose the entire piece of feta inside of the meat.
  3. On a medium high heat, grill the bifteki until golden brown.
  4. Add the cucumber and garlic from the bowl in a sieve and squeeze the liquid thoroughly. Mix cucumber with yogurt in another bowl and arrange with pepper and olive oil. Serve with salad and tzatziki.
