Instructions

Preparing In The Kitchen
    Beef Patty
  1. Peel and finely chop the onion. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together.
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 patties and in each patty in the middle make a small dimple (as meat cooks, the proteins contract so the patty shrinks and puffs up in the middle. Making a kind of dimple in the middle counteracts that effect so you end up with a nice, even patty).
  3. Place the grilling pan on the medium-high heat. Drizzle in olive oil and once oil is warmed up add patties, grill them for 4-5 minutes (depends on thickness and your preferences) and turning them around until coloured on all sides.
  4. Saganaki with Honey
  5. Whisk the egg in a shallow bowl. Add the panko breadcrumbs to a separate shallow bowl.
  6. Dip the feta through the egg, turning to coat, remove and allow any excess to drip off. Dredge the feta through the Panko, turning to coat and pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a medium skillet set over medium heat. When the oil shimmers, add the feta and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  8. Set aside and drizzle with some honey.
  9. Sun Dried Tomato Olive Salsa
  10. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced sun-dried tomatoes, olives, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, basil, crushed red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt.
  11. Assemble The Burger
  12. To serve, spread each piece of bread with Tzatziki. Add salad and the sun-dried tomato salsa. Top with the grilled patty and the feta saganaki. Topped with cucumber.
