Wash, peel and coarsely grate the carrots. Grate the halloumi coarsely as well. Wash the dill, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stem and chop.
In a medium bowl, mix the carrots and halloumi with the egg, dill, flour, cumin, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
Form the carrot halloumi mass into small balls. Heat the oil in a small saucepan and deep-fry the balls in hot oil for about 3 minutes, until golden brown. Then drain on the kitchen paper and set aside to cool down.
For the dip, mix the yogurt with the lemon juice and tahini in a small bowl. Season with pepper and serve with the carrot halloumi poppers.
