Steamed Pak Choi

Crisp, fresh pak choi with garlic soy sauce makes this an easy vegetarian side dish for all kind of chicken, beef or fish recipes.

Preparing In The Kitchen
  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to boil. The bamboo steamer should fit comfortably on the pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cut the pak choi in halves and sear it with the sauce.
  4. Place the pak choi in the bamboo steamer and cover it with the bamboo lid.
  5. Steam the pak choi for about 3-5 minutes until it is wilted and tender.
  6. Spread the pak choi onto serving plates and drizzle the rest of the sauce over it.
