Preparing In The Kitchen
Place a small pot over medium heat, add oats and toast them for few seconds.
Then add the coconut milk, almond butter and cinnamon stick, cook for 8-10 minutes. Stir often to avoid sticking.
In the meantime, wash and slice the apple. Place pan over medium heat and add the coconut oil. Once hot, add the apple slices and lower down the heat. When the slices are starting to ‘boil’, add honey and let apple slices slowly get caramelized with the honey, for about 1-2 minutes.
Serve it in a bowl, topped with caramelized apples and crushed walnuts.
