Instructions

Preparing In The Kitchen
  1. If you have a juicer, juice 2 carrots, 1 apple and turmeric. Afterwards separately juice the orange and leave 50 ml orange juice for the topping, the rest you mix with the carrot and apple juice. For the porridge you should have about 400 ml of juice.
  2. Place the pan over medium heat, add oats and apple, carrot and orange juice (400ml), bring to the boil then lower down the heat.
  3. Pour in about 350ml coconut milk and cook for 8 to 10 minutes (until the porridge is soft and creamy). Stir often to avoid sticking.
  4. In the meantime, while porridge is cooking, cut 1 apple in half then into thin slices.
  5. In a small bowl mix honey, orange juice and zest, cinnamon. Mix it well.
  6. Place the grilling pan over medium high heat and add apples, pour in the mixture over apples and lower down the heat. Glaze the apples for few minutes – do not burn.
  7. Serve it in a bowl topped with glazed apples and crushed roasted walnuts.
